The KPMG ASPAC Regional Delivery Center (RDC) departments work directly with member firms within the region to deliver, implement, adopt and support technologies used by our businesses and member firms.

ASPAC Regional Delivery Centre – Communications Associate Director

Successful candidate is responsible for all RDC communications within the region, employing global ITS communications standards to ensure that the member firms deploy global technologies for smooth operation within the RDC.

The role involves:

• working with ASPAC RDC leaders to execute external and internal communications plans

• developing communication plans for each function.

• working closely with ITS Global Communications team to ensure compliance with global communications standards and processes

• understanding member firms’ requirements and communications needs.

• advising RDC leadership on regional communications needs.

• assisting RDC departments in developing and distributing messages to communicate the advantages of global tools to member firms and regional leadership,

• communicating project based messages to ensure member firms are sufficiently prepared for actions they are required to take as part of product deployments.

• managing RDC Portal for electronic message content and processes to ensure clear and functional communications processes within the RDC.

 

Ideal candidates with a skill set such as business acumen, virtual teaming, customer relationship management and product expertise are required to lay the foundation upon which specialty competencies are built.

Specialty communications competencies include exceptional writing skills, interviewing skills, knowledge of world class corporate communications methods and tools, strong relationship building skills, understanding of deployment and support of large-scale infrastructures and applications.

He or she must also be capable of strategic thinking and be able to translate strategic plans into action. He or she must be also willing to travel and receive calls from different time zones.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• a University degree in Communications, Journalism or a related field with a minimum of five years experience in corporate communications, ideally in a global setting in a technology and/or a professional services environment.

• experience in developing communications strategy and plans and marketing tools to users and supporting communication process for tool deployment.

• experience in using electronic communications tools (SharePoint, html editors, social media tools) and developing visual communications.

• the ability to understand the global technology strategies and make rational decisions regarding the escalation of problems.

• the ability to work with people from many different cultural backgrounds and confidence in dealing with different levels across the firm.

• attention to details, excellent coordination and organising skills and good knowledge of regional issues and structures.
