Communications Business Partner
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Communications Business Partner at one of London's most well known and established investment and asset management firms.
Main Duties:
- To contribute to Infrastructure communication objectives by ensuring the dissemination of relevant and interesting information to employees and key stakeholders, with specific focus on Risk, Legal and Compliance.
- To provide day-to-day support in delivering the components of the Risk/Legal/Compliance Communications strategies globally.
- To support the end-to-end management and coordination of all communication events for Risk/Legal/Compliance globally, in partnership with the team events coordinator and local functional contacts, for example town halls, networking events, business breakfasts, and executive chat events (real time, online executive QA sessions), including the collection and analysis of event feedback.
- To plan, write and produce high-quality communications and announcements (intranet/email etc.), and facilitate the approvals process as required, both with the business contacts and relevant members of the communications team.
- To design and deliver enhancements to the Risk/Legal/Compliance intranet sites and keep department-wide content up-to-date as and when required.
- To contribute to the production (including researching, editing articles, coordinating photography, liaising with topic owners, communications committee members, designers) and distribution of communication content through all corporate communication channels.
- To provide assistance for Risk/Legal/Compliance HR/People activities and the Infrastructure Diversity and Inclusion Programme in the region as and when required.
- To interface with other key stakeholders including the HR, Corporate Communications, Brand teams as necessary.
- To perform other duties as required with some guidance from line manager.
- To support communication initiatives in the respective EMEA region, aligned to the Risk/Legal/Compliance location programme.
- To work with the wider Infrastructure Communications team on joint initiatives and pan Infrastructure communication projects to drive efficiency, improvements, and awareness of the broader Infrastructure agenda.
Person Requirements:
- Internal communications and/or PR experience.
- Experience of working to deadlines and adopting a project management approach to manage communications projects.
- Experience of interacting with a culturally diverse employee base.
- Experience of working in a high pressure, global environment and an ability to manage conflicting demands and deadlines and prioritise.
- Working knowledge and experience of SharePoint, intranet editing and other technology tools.
- Proven ability and excellence in writing announcements and articles for publication.
- Experience of editing stories and articles written by other authors.
- Experience of managing events end-to-end.
- Experience of drafting content for senior leadership presentations, including talking points and PowerPoint slides.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
- The ability to build relationships.
- The ability to adopt a project management approach where necessary.
- Intuitive and sensitive to confidential information, handling it appropriately at all times.
