Communications Director recruitment

The incumbent directs and executes the thought leadership communications strategy for Wealth Management with the goal of consistently demonstrating and articulating the organization's expertise and insights in the areas of investment management, wealth planning and private banking. He or she will be in charge of creating an annual editorial calendar and will design and manage a communications program that includes newsletters, articles, white papers, presentational modules and other communications in support of the thought leadership program. He or she will conduct independent research, consult and coordinate with senior BNY Mellon management, marketing team, and subject matter experts in the development and execution of ideas. The incumbent will coordinate the work of outside agencies including writers, designers, and printers, as needed. He or she will be responsible for in depth writing assignments as well as supervising and editing the communications work of others.

A bachelor's degree is required. The incumbent should have twelve or more years of marketing experience in a related investment or wealth management field. The individual should have a thorough understanding of wealth and estate planning and investments. Proven superior financial writing and editing experience required.
