Communications Trainee [Ref: P639 – Communications Trainee – KM] recruitment
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop Corporate Identity and ensure brand awareness
- Facilitate internal communications between business lines and all staff and develop staff sense of belonging
- Assist the CEO’s office on all CEO messages (CEO Club, monthly meeting, newsletter)
- Group corporate messages: Edit distribute quarterly results messages, cib group messages on key issues eg. Eurozone, QAs
- The bank image in Asia: arrange and circulate corporate information to promote SG’s ambitions corporate culture internally externally i.e. ID cards (external brochures..), annual reports, corporate key slides, factsheets etc
Internal Stakeholders
- Maintain attractive content by working on the editorial calendar and the topics of interest the messaging with all BLs/Resources functions
- Work with teams across countries in the region and with the Group’s team in HQ to coordinate the creation distribution of internal messages
- Be responsible for the prompt, efficient, effective and accurate distribution of the internal messages (appointments / newsletter / intranet..) and materials via all internal channels
- Maintain internal communication dashboards up to date, manage the reporting to Paris HQ provide regular analysis to the manager and the team
- Assist in the promotion rollout of staff involvement initiatives e.g. CSR week, Dragon boat teams, HK football teams, HK basketball teams
Internal Channels Management
- Manage Enhance all the internal communication channels: Intranet / E-Newsletter / E-Mailing / Posters / Premiums Merchandise / Staff meetings
- Maintain the internal distribution lists up to date
Event organisation
- Co-ordinate with suppliers to implement events and to ensure work is delivered within budget and on schedule
- Execute appropriate events addressing the business lines’ strategies and messages

Requirements:
Bright, and self-motivated, the successful candidate will have the poise, confidence and credibility as well as the willingness to roll up his/her sleeves and tackle any aspect of a project. Client service orientation, ability to listen and convince
- Bachelor degree in Communications or Journalism or Marketing/PR
- Fluent in written and spoken English. Cantonese or other languages a plus.
- Proven experience in Communications with strong writing editing skills in English.
- Experience in the Hong Kong financial industry is a plus but not mandatory.
- Pro-active, able to generate ideas and work independently
- Ability to perform in a high pressure environment, handling confidential information with strict deadlines
- Ability to multi-task on a daily basis, managing on-going projects as well as ad-hoc issues that demand immediate attention
- Willingness to work long and flexible hours
