Position Description:
To coordinate logistical and planning aspects of fundraising events, assist with March for Babies team management, and provide administrative support to the Greater Los Angeles Division Executive Director and fundraising managers.

Position Responsibilities:
• Coordinate all planning/logistics for March for Babies events, including but not limited to: March for Babies Los Angeles; March for Babies Ventura; March for Babies L.A. Division kickoff • Assist Director of Development with all planning/logistics for Signature Chefs Auction, Healthy Babies Healthy Futures, Celebration of Babies and any other special events that arise throughout the year • Recruit and manage volunteers who solicit and secure silent/live auction and in-kind donations for all events • Recruit and manage volunteers for day of event activities and in-office projects • Staff all fundraising events • Some account management of March for Babies teams – including online fundraising support, presentations and constituent management • Provide general administrative support for Division including generating reports, ordering supplies, coordinating correspondence, keeping Board and Special Event Committee meeting minutes, maintaining all records and database systems including donations, vendor information, inventory, acknowledgment letters and other division files • Become an expert with March of Dimes branding guide, ensuring correct presentation of March of Dimes logos and adherence to national branding regulations • Provide basic graphic layout and design assistance to the Division as needed • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and education • Two years event and meeting planning experience • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communications skills • Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Power Point, and some experience with donor databases. • Fundraising and graphic layout and design experience each considered a plus
