Job Summary/Position Details:
The Poptent Community Manager will be a fast-paced, results-based position that engages deeply with our global network of filmmakers. It'll be one part creative, two parts social, a couple dashes of copywriting, and a whole cup of commercials.
This position reports to the Director of Community and will be based in suburban Philadelphia. We also have offices in San Clemente, CA, Sao Paulo, Chicago and in New York City.
Key Responsibilities, Essential Functions:
* Reviewing and providing critical feedback to hundreds of video submissions a week
* Corresponding daily with our thousands of filmmakers from around the globe
* Developing a friendly online community culture, while at the same time analyzing results-based projects
* Joining the social media team to craft and grow our social presence and reach new audiences
* 'Roll up the sleeves' and tackle any opportunity
* Ability to think outside the box, get super creative, take ownership of and finish projects
* Keep abreast of digital marketing trends, technologies and best practices
* Work with Community and Marketing Departments to ensure highest quality traction, messaging and results
* Be fast-paced, adaptable to change, high energy work
Requirements:
This individual must have the ability to successfully engage/manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Must be self-motivated and work well in a collaborative team culture.
* Bachelor's Degree
* Strong, demonstrated copy and script writing capabilities
* Strong critical and technical understanding of video shooting and editing
* Deep, proven experience with the social web
* Experience with creative development and deployment
* Experience with ROI-driven content production
* Positive, outgoing personality with capable on-camera talent
* Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer
