Community Mental Health Nurse Band 6 / CPN

Hays is working with the Ministry of Defence to recruit experienced Registered Community Mental Health Nurse at Band 6 level to work at Dept of community Health, RAF Cranwell, Sleaford, Lincolnshire.

Dates required between: 3rd July – 3rd Oct 13                               
Hours Required: 36.5 Mon – Thurs 0830 – 1700, Fri 0830 
 
You will responsible for providing an outpatient community mental health service, organising therapeutic, educational, training and mental health promotion regimes in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary mental health team.  
 
You will be expected:
 
To dictate/write medical reports within 1 week on assessment
 
To support in all aspects of Health Promotion projects, as directed by the Nursing Officer.
 
To maintain accurate client files, following military and national guidelines.
 
You must be willing to train to become authorised in use of Defence Medical Information Capability Programme (DMICP).
 
 
Essential
 
Be a Registered Nurse on either part 3 or part 13 of the NMC Register.
 
You must have a minimum of two year community mental health nursing experience.
 
SLiAP
 
Secondary Clinical Qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)/ Trauma Focused CBT
 
Clean UK driving licence.
 
Good computer skills
 
 
Desirable:
 
BSc Nursing
 
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (Level 1)
