Band 5 Community Nurses required urgently for Oxford Health NHS

Hays Healthcare need to recruit a group of community nurses at band five level for our NHS client.

The nurses will work as part of an integrated community team across the county. They will, through triage, identify the most appropriate support and treatment for patients based in the community,  as an alternative to Hospital admission. They will support other nurses and in turn have support given to deliver a range of clinical skills to community based patient case loads including; physical examinations,  ordering,  performing and interpreting common screening and diagnostic tests and give advice to patients on a diverse range of nursing needs such as on falls, nutrition, end of life planning and medicines management.

The requirement is immediate and nurses that are available on an ongoing basis are preferred. There are a range of working arrangements mainly comprise of short late afternoon/twighlight 4 hour shifts and some whole time equivalent opportunities, so there would be lots of flexibility on offer for those nurses that already have other nursing roles. 

The nurses will by currently registered with the NMC have full range of immunities evidence and mandatory training such as basic life support and manual handling. The nurses must be car drivers, have a good 'can do' attitude and high quality 'people' skills. 

We are looking for special nurses that have all the above attributes, skills and availability that want to take on this interesting but rewarding and flexible role. That's why we are paying  an excellent rate for nurses at this level
