Position Description:
SunGard Financial Systems provides mission-critical software and IT services to institutions in virtually every segment of the financial services industry. The primary purpose of these systems is to automate the many detailed processes associated with trading, managing investment portfolios and accounting for investment assets. These solutions address the processing requirements of a broad range of users within financial services, including asset managers, traders, custodians, compliance officers, treasurers, insurers, risk managers, hedge fund managers, plan administrators and clearing agents. In addition, we also provide professional services that focus on application implementation and integration of these solutions and on custom software development.
As part of the Global Compensation team, the Compensation Analyst will support the Compensation Manager in all aspects of compensation for the EMEA region.

The role will mainly focus on job evaluation, benchmarking and other areas of compensation analysis/administration. Areas of responsibility are as listed:

Competitive Pay Benchmarking
• Job Evaluation - Work with HR and management to determine relevant survey matches for EMEA roles.
• Research and Advise - At the direction of the Compensation Manager advise HR and business on market pay rates using salary survey data e.g. Radford, IPAS.

EMEA Survey Maintenance and Submission
• Survey Submission - Collect and prepare compensation data for annual survey submission.
• Vendor Interaction - Respond to survey vendor questions on matching and follow-up to independently resolve issues with survey submission.
• Survey Data Maintenance - Catalog and inform other team members of survey updates and availability.

HR Technology, Process Data
• HRIS - Assist in set-up and be responsible for the maintenance of data in the compensation areas of new HR system (SAP).
• Process - Follow, provide guidance and suggest improvements to existing compensation processes.
• Data - Audit compensation data on a regular basis for data integrity.

Annual Salary Review and Bonus Process
• Data Integrity - Work with payroll the HRIS to review and assist in the audit of records in preparation for the annual cycle.
• Planning - Serve as team member on salary planning bonus processing, supporting the EMEA region.

Administration
• Salary Bonus Plans - Assist segment HR business partners and generalists in the preparation of salary and bonus plan communications.
• Compliance - At the direction of the Compensation Manager contribute to the administration of salary increases and bonus plan payments following processes to assure compliance with company policy, procedures and practice.
• Research Review - At the direction of the Compensation Manager research and review existing and potentially new administrative processes to assure best practices and compliance with statutory requirements.

Position Requirements:
Essential Experience Required
• Experience in an HR role
• Exposure to base salary and bonus compensation administration in prior roles

Desirable Experience Required
• Experience in a compensation role

Essential Skills Required
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLookup, Pivot Table)

Desirable Skills Required
