Duties
Bowhead is looking for a Compensation Analyst who will provide overall Compensation support to include the administration of company wide compensation programs to ensure all compensation is competitive, equitable, and meets Government regulations. This position will conduct salary assessments to assist pricing proposals, conduct labor surveys and job evaluations, provide guidance regarding employment offers, salary increases, and promotions, and develop an internal salary structure and executive compensation program.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, implement, and maintain nationwide compensation program, policies, and procedures and executive compensation programs, including bonuses and short- and long-term incentive awards
- Support our Pricing Department with analysis of survey data and relevant compensation surveys for various positions, labor categories, and job descriptions in several locations on short notice. Apply analytical knowledge in support of evaluating/leveling jobs and market pricing.
- Conduct job evaluations to recommend equitable compensation and correct classifications for new hires and current employees
- Make recommendations regarding annual merit increase budgets and processes
- Conduct internal compensation audits
- Analyze compensation surveys and reports to determine competitive wages and salaries
- Identify and participate in appropriate salary surveys
- Consult with and provide subject matter expertise to Company leadership regarding all compensation related topics
- Interpret and ensure compliance with Federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding compensation practices
- Continually keep up to date on industry practices and benchmarks to ensure the Company remains competitive
