Compensation Analyst Job in Medford 02155, Massachusetts US

Agero ( http://www.agero.com ) is looking for a compensation analyst to join our Human Resources team at company headquarters in Medford, MA.  This critical contributor to our organization should demonstrate initiative to successfully complete day to day tasks but also special projects.
 

This person will assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of pay programs, and advise Managers and HR on compensation issues.  Review job descriptions and perform job evaluations to determine appropriate salary grades.  Participate in salary surveys, perform market analysis and develop recommendations on adjustments to pay practices.  Works with HR and Managers to develop or enhance incentive programs.  Participates in various compensation projects and provides analysis and reporting to HR.

Additionally, provides support to HR and management in the interpretation and administration of the organization's compensation programs, policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with state and federal laws governing compensation practices. Works with HR to ensure local compensation programs are competitive within the marketplace and are utilized effectively.

·         Conducts job evaluations for new positions to determine appropriate salary grade. Evaluates and analyzes market data, determines FLSA status, and maintains appropriate documentation regarding the evaluation. Reviews requests for evaluations of revised job descriptions and develops recommendations

·         Works with HR to assist managers in writing job descriptions that give an accurate depiction of the job responsibilities and requirements of the job and insures key components are consistent across comparable jobs. Maintains approved job descriptions.

·         Conducts research, analysis, and evaluation of company pay programs including bonus/incentive plans and the performance review process.

·         Provides standard and ad hoc reporting and trend analysis related to compensation and Total Rewards initiatives.

·         Conducts competitive pay assessments.   Conducts cost and financial impact analyses of proposed plan designs.

·         Designs pay structures and recommends pay administration guidelines.  Conducts annual market analysis and develops recommendations on adjustments to current pay practices

·         Leads the annual compensation planning process working with management to define requirements and insures the planning tool design meets requirements.  Coordinates communication, training and support during the planning process. Responds to questions and issues that arise and provides analysis and reporting to support the review and approval of recommendations.   Insures salary increases and incentive payments processed.

EDUCATIONBachelors Degree or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE:  5+ years of experience in compensation plan administration, implementation, and analysis.

SKILLS:  Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational and analytical skills. The ability to communicate effectively is essential.  Solid PC and reporting experience
