ID Grind - 2nd Shift
Description of Responsibilities: Position is responsible for the machining of hydraulic lifters. Duties may include: performing internal grinding, set-ups, machine adjustments, quality inspections on the product and other duties as assigned. 5S Activities other duties as assigned. Requirements: Requires one to two years of machining and/or assembly experience. Requires the ability to use hand tools and to perform inspections and routine maintenance on machines. Applicants must have strong math skills, ability to read blueprints, and the ability to perform SPC charting. Previous experience with computerized machining equipment is highly preferred. 1) Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited school. 2) Minimum of one year manufacturing experience or Piedmont Community College Workforce Academy Certification. 3) Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
