DUTIES:
**SALARY DETERMINED BY PHYSICIAN COMPENSATION PANEL COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS.
- Perform compensation and Pensioning (CP) Examinations.
- Provide medical opinions in accordance with Compensation and Pension Examination Program.
- Perform multi-system examinations used to determine service connected disability compensation.
- KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Designated and/or Random Drug Testing
- Background and/or Security Investigation
- Must pass Pre-Employment Examination
- Current full unrestricted licensure

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

- Must be a U.S. Citizen. (Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens.)
- Experience performing CP examinations is preferred.
- Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
- Possess excellent clinical and administrative skills.
- Must be proficient in spoken and written English.
- Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting in a course of education in medicine.
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, Commonwealth of the United States or in the District of Columbia.
