Compensation Specialist
Serve as primary resource and internal expert for Swiss Re target API program. Provide analysis and recommendations on all aspects of target API. In addition, provide support and analysis for compensation programs and related actions in EMEA. As a key member of the Compensation, Benefits International Mobility (CBIM) Team, work
with colleagues to provide consistent support to our clients in all functions and locations.

Provide analysis and guidance on development and ongoing management of target API structure covering all levels of the organization. Ensure all actions taken are effectively aligned with the
current group Compensation policy. Understand unique nature of all markets where we compete for talent and advise Group on market trends and statutory requirements.

It is expected that the incumbent will be involved in other areas of the CBIM organisation including (but not limited to) helping drive a sustainable, professional and structured communications programme within and from CBIM and also helping foster and drive a cross-functional team ethic amongst the CBIM function.
Main Tasks:
Provide advisory support on all aspects of target API program
Work with internal and external resources on design, costing and communication of target API program
Develop thorough understanding of business and ensure compensation plans are well aligned with and supportive of business models and goals
Provide guidance and approval on other compensation actions
Consult with Functional management on ad hoc benchmarking projects
Participate in annual compensation planning process and provide key support for executive compensation reviews
Partner with other Analyst(s) to provide location support
Identify and pro-actively communicate market trends to local HR and Group
Ensure compliance with governance standards
Requirements
Ideally 5 to 7 years demonstrated and successful experience in Compensation Benefits
Good understanding of critical elements of successful rewards program
Ability to work on stand alone basis with minimal direct oversight
A demonstrated ability to manage relationships both inside and outside the organisation
Ability to work in an unstructured environment and has proven a self-starting attitude and mindset
Superior analytical skills including the ability to offer alternatives and creative solutions
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Strong working knowledge of MS Office products suite Personal Characteristics

A solid work ethic and high energy level, honest and straightforward
Ability to build consensus
Creative, innovative thinker with ability to find non-traditional solutions
