Job Category: Sales Location: Redmond, WA, US Job ID: 788352-76552 Division: Sales Microsoft's Enterprise Partner Group, Worldwide Specialist Sales Strategy Operations Team has an immediate opening for a Sr. Program Manager for Compete to support processes, tools and teams that drive competitive sales and key business insights where Microsoft competes. This role is the ambassador for CompHot to ensure processes and Key Sales Blocker Opportunity practices (KSBO) are optimized for field alignment and stakeholder execution. The Program Manager for Compete is expected to partner with the Sr. Technical Operations Lead and Sales Excellence to engage directly with stakeholders in EPG Sales, CompHot, and Product Groups to drive visibility and efficiency of the compete escalation engines and key sales blockers and observations. RESPONSIBILITIES/Key Programs to Manage: 1. CompHot Ambassador and Marketing - Support the evolution of the Comphot Reactive and new Field Alignment Outreach Engine - Establish, lead and manage 1 and 3 year brand and marketing plan to support CompHot 2. Compete@TechReady/MGX Program Management - Program management to support and execute world class Competitive sales presence and participation in key field sales readiness events - Partner with CMSG, SMSGR and Business Groups to expand influence and impact - Broaden Compete Sales Culture and Stakeholders outside of EPG and SMSP 3. CATM Global Community Development, Engagement Enablement - Deliver strong customer and partner feedback as a means of influencing the product management roadmap alignment with the business groups. - Partner with business groups to drive better field alignment around KSBO processes and our Field Alignment methodologies 4. Business Insights Communications - Executive and Field - Lead monthly rhythms that create listening channels to internal CompHot stakeholders for KSBO and Outreach - Become integrated in Field Sales ROBs as a means of optimizing the Outreach and Reactive escalation models 5. Procedures and guidelines lifecycle management - Support the maturity of our Compete Disciplines and Standards as they relate to field alignment and sales blockers - Thought leadership that deepens our efficiency around KSBOs and our compete culture - Coordinate efforts with the Tools team to ensure logical process workflows map to plan REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Drive for Results Impact and Influence Cross Boundary Collaboration Ability to take on Big Challenges SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: 10 or more years of IT industry business or program management experience sales experience Track record of delivering results in multi-stakeholder projects through cross team collaboration Passion for specialist and competitive sales at Microsoft Understanding of field operating models and ability to influence EXPERIENCE BACKGROUND: Demonstrated leadership and success defining and driving complex programs and projects in a matrix organization Plan development, complex project development and management Sales and marketing success to customer and to partners (internal and external) Strong interpersonal communications and cross-group collaboration skills Demonstrated knowledge of software industry including key competitors and key competitive core strategies Experience in working in a globally distributed and complex matrix organization REQUIREMENTS: Passionate about executing programs and driving for results Creative and structured problem solving Strong project management and implementation experience that involves non-reporting stakeholders Strategic and practical thinker with the ability to influence people across all levels Ability to build credibility with stakeholders and decision makers.
