Compliance Advisory Manager – Fixed Income recruitment
Our client, a Global Financial Institution is looking for a compliance advisory manager to provide support and guidance to their fixed income business. The individual would help support the compliance function in identifying and mitigating risks across the fixed income business and help promote a proactive compliance culture within the firm.
Duties Include:
• Promote effective compliance and oversight with legislation in relation to their fixed income business
• Providing regulatory and transactional guidance and advice to the front office
• Provide interpretation of relevant rules, regulations, policies and procedures to senior management and front office.
• Reviewing and approving research in accordance with the regulatory and internal guidelines
• Demonstrate strong technical understanding of the fixed income business and current global regulatory issues.
• Act as a point of contact in regards to the business
• Assist in achieving the business goals within a strong compliance culture.
• Provide sound, accurate and commercial regulatory advice on new initiatives and projects.
• Ensure there is co-ordinated coverage and responses given in a timely manner to any issues that arise.
• Provide input into other areas of the regulatory risk function
• Lead and/or assist in ad hoc regulatory projects
The preferred candidate will ideally have an investment banking background and demonstrate a solid understanding of the fixed income business. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact at all levels of business effectively.
