Position Description:
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to work within the Legal/Compliance department, supporting PIMCO's proprietary compliance software - Automated Compliance Environment (ACE). Primary responsibilities will include the creation and automation of rules based on investment guidelines. The candidate will need to ensure that the guideline interpretations of account's restrictions are accurately reflected in ACE. In addition, this role requires participation in numerous analytical/technical ad hoc projects aimed at automating account guideline compliance. The analyst will test and implement new ACE functionality. The individual in this position will have frequent interaction with Account Management, the Technology department, as well as the various teams within Legal and Compliance.
Position Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified candidate will possess a four-year college degree; emphasis in accounting, business, finance or economics preferred. Candidate must possess strong analytical ability and excellent attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment is essential. Must be capable of managing multiple tasks with tight deadlines and possess strong problem solving ability. Candidate must have intermediate/advanced working knowledge of MS Excel. Experience with Business Objects, Bloomberg and TAPS preferred. Working knowledge of fixed income instruments is a plus.
