Compliance Analyst (6 Month Contract) recruitment
Accountabilities
Assisting the business OTC Reform Project to prepare to meet all of the compliance and implementation requirements imposed by the Rules, by:
Research, reviewing and interpreting the Rules as directed;
Documenting rule requirements for inclusion in obligations libraries;
Assisting with the preparation of registration documentation as directed;
Coordinating input from Legal and other experts;
Assisting in making recommendations to the business on potential alternatives for how the business may optimise its positioning in relation to the Rules.
Skills, Knowledge Experience
Essential:
Extensive working knowledge of regulatory/legislative compliance principles and practices, particularly in relation to rules relating to market structure and OTC markets
Experience with an understanding of the underlying principles and key drivers of the Rules and of regulators’ objectives and processes of regulatory reform including submissions to Governments and regulators and regulatory cooperation across regions
Law (or related business or finance) degree
Desired:
Demonstrated ability to remain results focussed in a fast changing legislative environment
Well-developed communication skills with the ability to persuade, influence and build rapport with others and to effectively impart specialist knowledge and build capability in others – including presenting to senior management
Flexible and responsive to change and meeting regulatory uncertainty but at the same time delivering under intensive time pressures
Ability to work under minimal supervision, proven ability to deliver detailed regulatory analysis and rule development
Initiative with a demonstrated ability to manage time priorities
