Responsibilities
Advising SM and staff on the practical application of compliance laws, rules and standards
Identify, document and assess the compliance and corporate business risks and development of new product or business practices.
Regulatory responsibilities including regulatory reporting and keeping abreast of regulations
Assisting SM in educating staff on compliance and risk issues, acting as contact point for Compliance and risk queries
Establish an appropriate Compliance and Risk training program for staff in addition to requisite written compliance and risk policies and procedures.
Establish a written, risk-based Compliance Program
Education and Experience
Degree holder or equivalent business experience
7 years industry experience
Compliance, internal audit, or risk management certification an advantage
