An excellent opportunity now exists for a compliance professional to secure a role within this well respected organisation. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for the provision of compliance advice to the business as well as monitoring compliance with the relevant regulations and internal policies. The role will have a focus on interpreting and applying changes in regulation and ensuring Vanguard’s response to this is robust.
Specific duties will include:
- Compliance monitoring, testing and reporting;
- Disclosure and notification reporting to ASX, ASIC and other external bodies;
- Investigating compliance breaches and framing rectification measures;
- Advising internal stakeholders on compliance issues;
- Process improvement;
- Developing operational risk models;
- Developing compliance policies and procedures; and
- Regulatory review and interpretation.
To be considered for this outstanding opportunity to establish yourself in a top tier fund manager applicants will offer a tertiary qualification in law, economics or commerce coupled with proven experience in a compliance focused role within the financial services or banking industries. You will combine these technical skills and subject matter knowledge with a consultative style built upon strong communication and engagement skills and the ability to build robust relationships across the business.
