Compliance Consultant (Retail Asset/Investment Management) recruitment

Our Regulatory Compliance Consulting business is dedicated to providing compliance advisory services to our diverse client base and as part of our growth plans we are looking to hire an experienced compliance professional with solid experience gained in the retail funds / retail investments space to join our team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clients with responsive regulatory advice and solutions

• Update clients on regulatory change and advise on how it impacts their business

• Provide advice on and draft changes to manuals and other compliance documentation

• Set up relevant compliance infrastructure for clients

• Carry out regular onsite compliance reviews and write follow up reports

• Involvement in designing / running training courses

• Build / develop client relationships

• Help develop the IMS offering

Key Skills / Experience:

• Proven track record within compliance gained within Compliance consultancy, Asset / Investment Management or the FSA with a strong focus on retail investments

• Ability to implement solutions to address the regulatory requirements of the client

• Sound knowledge of the FSA handbook

• Experience of monitoring and the ability to develop compliance monitoring programmes and techniques

• Strong client facing ability

• Excellent spoken and written English

Experience required:

• At least 2 - 5 years' experience in a compliance role with a strong focus on retail investment/asset management

• Experience gained at an Asset / Investment Manager, as a compliance / regulatory consultant from Big4 or specialist firm, or at the FSA
