Compliance Intern recruitment

You will report to the compliance Lawyer, your main responsibilities will be :

Monitoring and identifying the threshold crossings of AXA Group for major holdings in listed companies for European countries taking into account:
- the general information obligation
- the specific takeover bid obligations
Preparing the notifications of major holdings according to each country’s applicable laws and regulations
Participating in the improvement of the AXA system to identify and analyse holdings of the AXA Group in the capital of listed companies: presentations to different entities, suggestions, updating documents, etc.
Answering specific requests from issuers (shareholding surveys) and AXA Group on AXA’s holding in the capital of listed companies
Carrying out legal and regulatory research on major holdings reporting and financial markets

What sort of profile are we looking for ?

Education qualifications (i.e. type of studies student should be undertaking): Master’s degree in Financial Law or Compliance or Business School
Technical skills (e.g. IT applications, analysis, research, etc.): Literate in MS Office especially in Excel
Key Competencies (e.g. ability to work autonomously, detail-oriented, ability to meet tight deadlines): rigorous and curious
Languages required: Fluency in English to be able to work with several entities
Any skills or experience which are desirable but not necessary:
- Previous related experience is the bank / finance industry is appreciated
- Knowledge of regulatory affairs is an advantage
- Knowledge of financial products and its vehicles (SICAV, OPCVM, etc) is strongly appreciated
