Compliance Manager
Full Job Description
- Ensure that the company complies with all applicable laws and regulation and advise management accordingly.
- Data protection.
- To implement contracts with all third party lead suppliers and third party suppliers (to give the company the right to monitor and satisfy itself as to such third parties` compliance with law and regulation to ensure that the company is itself compliant) and monitor compliance.
- To feed back any areas of non-compliance by third party suppliers.
- To ensure that all training is kept up to date with regulatory requirements.
- To establish and maintain a full and complete training log.
- To establish and monitor that all communications with consumers, verbal and in writing, are compliant with all relevant law and regulation.
- To establish and monitor that all marketing materials are compliant with all relevant law and regulation.
- To ensure that the company`s complaint log is adequate and up to date and compliant with regulation.
- To co-ordinate company responses to compliance and related issues raised by third party organisations-external bodies.
5 years of experience managing compliance in a regulatory environment
Experience in claims management, legal administration or financial services preferred
Track record of problem solving, decision making, developing solutions to difficult situations
Commercial focus and analytical skills
Planning and organising
Communicating and influencing
The main operations of the company are the handling and administration of PPI claims, which is an administrative process performed primarily on a computer-based claims management software system
Between 35000 and 40000, the ideal candidate can be based in the Midland or London
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
