An exciting new permanent job opportunity has arisen within a leading Investment Management firm.
This role is responsible for aiding within the development of the compliance monitoring procedures whilst reviewing the controls that are operating within the fund management area of the business. You will assess the regulatory standards in terms of compliance, working in an efficient and effective manner. You will be expected to compile high quality reports based on your findings to present to the senior management. Compliance Monitoring also consists of aiding with the development of compliance training materials and the collation of MI for the risk, compliance and CASS committees.
A successful candidate for this role must have significant experience of either pursuing a compliance monitoring role in fund or wealth management or pursuing an audit type role. You should have good working knowledge of regulatory legislation and FSA sourcebooks, with deep knowledge of retail products including, UCITS and NURS.
Compliance Monitoring requires a candidate that has obtained a degree and is either full or part qualified in a professional manner for example, ACA, ACCA etc.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential, along with strong analytical, report writing, presentational and time management skills. You must be confident working in a team and also on an individual basis within a dynamic environment.
