Compliance Officer – Insurance recruitment
Working as a Compliance Specialist, your role will be to provide day to day compliance support to the business and to assist the Compliance Manager in ensuring the business complies with all regulatory requirements. The Company is a renowned Insurance and Reinsurance specialist with both General Insurance and Lloyd’s market products, giving and excellent opportunity to broaden your experience.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Compliance Manager is assessing and implementing regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring systems and controls are in place to remain compliant with regulators.
- Actively developing and maintaining relationships with senior managers within the business.
- Providing compliance training (AML, TCF and complaints) to the business and ensuring they are aware of all applicable rules and regulations.
- Ensuring Compliance policies and processes are in place and updated.
Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of the FSA Handbook, specifically ICOBS, TCF and SYSC.
- Experience of dealing with Retail business, including financial promotions, TCF and complaints.
- Excellent communication skills enabling effective liaison with the business.
- General Insurance or Lloyd’s market exposure.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who is pro-active and motivated. You will need to be able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
