Compliance Officer ( Private Bank ) recruitment
In this role, you will be the sole person in charge of all Compliance activities, handling all compliance and regulatory affairs. You will be reporting directly to the Board of Directors.
In this challenging role, your daily tasks will include but will not be limited to:
- Developing and implementing periodic compliance risk monitoring program across the bank processes
- Developing and implementing a best practise AML management framework
- Providing reports to Board of Directors regarding compliance matters, AML policies, and high risk issues
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations and implementing internally
- Reviewing and investigating of suspicious activity reports
- Managing all regulatory relationships and represent the bank to all external agencies / representatives (ex. SFE)
- Conducting of compliance trainings, as well as reviewing and updating internal compliance policies and procedures
The successful candidate should hold the following skills:
- Minimum of 5+ years of compliance experience within a financial institution
- Experience in AML/KYC functions, focusing on private banking clients
- Excellent knowledge of compliance and legal
- Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese; Mandarin and/or German an advantage
