Compliance Policy Manager
You will be responsible for working with the Group Risk and Compliance functions to assist the UK Heads in meeting their regulatory requirements. This role sits within the 2nd Line of Defence, which comprises of the Group Risk and Compliance functions.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring changes in regulation and performing impact analyses.
- Drafting / updating regulatory / compliance policies.
- Conducting simulated supervisory reviews of parts of the UK businesses.
- Identifying, assessing and governing compliance risk.
- Providing support to the Compliance Managers, Compliance Officers, Compliance Monitoring and the wider business on compliance matters.
- Horizon mapping key regulatory developments and delivering compliance projects.
My client is seeking an individual with detailed technical knowledge and experience of the UK regulatory framework as it applies to the employee benefits sector, with a particular focus on conduct risk. My client has a preference for either current or historical experience of insurance / reinsurance sector, including broking environment. You may have a strong knowledge of the broader regulatory landscape relating to pensions. Experience of either life and pensions, wealth management and investment management, ideally within an employee benefits environment would be beneficial. You will demonstrate strong leadership qualities and be a confident, persuasive communicator.
