Compliance Project Manager recruitment

As a Corporate Investment Bank my client is a leading player with 12,000 professionals in over 40 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific. They tailor solutions for issuers and investors by capitalising on its worldwide expertise in investment banking, global finance, and global markets.

They are looking for proven candidates that can pro actively provide strategic improvements to the take-over panel disclosures teams, reviewing processes and implementing efficiency in a cost effective and compliant fashion.

Responsibilities

•  To manage and develop an improved process, including where necessary specify system developments, for making accurate and timely disclosures to the London Takeover Panel.

•  Using in-depth Takeover Panel disclosure related knowledge and experience

•  Performing GAP analysis on in-house systems and processes for most efficiently meeting Takeover Panel reporting obligations

•  Draft a practical and detailed process to achieve appropriate reporting

•  Work out specifications for required developments of our current disclosure system

•  Engage with stakeholders, IT system personnel and traders as required to be able to deliver the above in coordination with the Lead Control Room Officer and the Head of the IBCR

Candidate Profile

•  Past experience of end-to-end compliance project delivery

•  Strong understanding and experience of Takeover Panel processes and rules relating to position and trade disclosures Is essential

•  Hands-on historic experience of putting together and making Takeover Panel disclosures. This includes understanding the different disclosure forms (for both connected and non-connected situations AND ability to calculate the positions that need to be input into the different sections)

•  Ability to look through systems, understanding relevant financial products eg Derivatives - and how they're reported.

•  Position, Trade and Takeover Panel reporting specialist.
