Compounder Job in Blacksburg 24060, Virginia US
Compounds mixes to be used for packaging of finished products, stocks and measures ingredients, and documents chemical usage. Obtain batch sheets from Assistant Production Manager based on a published schedule. Collect raw materials in required amounts and have verified by QA or secondary compounder. Add raw materials to mix and blend per procedure. High school diploma. Able to read and legibly write English. Able to use intermediate arithmetic skills (percentages, units of measure, conversions from one unit to another). Albe to repetitively lift up to 60 pounds up to 66 inches from the floor. Able to operate a forklift. Able to climb steps and ladders to reach mixers, tanks and storage shelves. Clean criminal background/drug screen. Hours of work will be 5:00pm-3:30am Monday-Friday.
