The Environmental Global Practice has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Project Manager for environmental remediation construction projects.
 
This position provides overall administrative and technical direction for environmental construction projects.  Responsible for overseeing total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.  Includes interfacing with client representatives, A/E representatives, subcontractors, etc.  The responsibilities of the position include assisting with remedial design, developing cost estimates, preparing construction sequencing plans and schedules, procuring subcontractors and materials, coordinating and/or supervising field activities of all company personnel and subcontractors on assigned projects (s); authorize/approve project purchase requisitions, change requests, etc; ensure all company, client, project policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to by personnel.  Maintain official project log and documentation files.  Other duties include assisting with implementation/interpretation of safety programs, providing direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions, and providing constructability input during project design.  Perform additional duties as assigned.
 

Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction related field from an accredited curriculum.  Work experience with an environmental or other contracting company a plus.   Minimum 8 -10 years related experience managing projects in the environmental construction industry. Excellent written verbal communication skills with both internal project management staff and client staff are essential along with strong analytical and problem solving skills. Experience with Primavera scheduling software and project control software would be helpful.
