Position Description:
SunGard AvantGard Payments is a trusted partner for corporations allowing them to manage their corporate banking transactions in an efficient way, using state of the art technology.

SunGard is looking for a Consultant / Business Analyst to join the Professional Services team for TRAX. AvantGard TRAX is the flagship product for the processing of payments and account reporting messages, that has the ability to integrate seamlessly with existing cash management and ERP back-office infrastructures. The Consultant or Business Analyst's key remit will be to contribute to the successful implementation of TRAX across Europe, delivering high quality payments-related consulting services.

Main Duties:
• Act as the primary contact for clients in relation to project business issues, ownership for the creation of the PDS (Project Definition Studies) and internal communication with the project team to ensure the solution delivers
• Promote a culture of excellence, quality and professionalism through the use of standardized requirements gathering and management techniques
• Drive clarity of scope and provide project team with workable and fully documented deliverables
• Translate requirements to deliver against standard product wherever possible
• Provide support to testing and development teams in designing project specific test cases
• Support and train client on TRAX application.
• Understand the interfaces between TRAX and external information systems such as Treasury, back-office, Swift Service Bureau, Banks
• Identification of potential additional functional requirements
• Maintain focus on delivering quality solutions, on time and to budget
• Ensure all administrative requirements are performed and delivered within the required deadlines

Position Requirements:
• Proven experience in a similar Business Analyst, Consultant, Professional Services or Pre-sales role.
• Experience in the payments and / or cash management space or related financial domains. This can have been gained within a technology vendor, industry, Bank or Corporate Finance department
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationship.
• Exceptional analytical skills
• Understanding of relational database structures, XML files, application logs, system configuration.
• Good team player showing relevant experience in a previous project team environment.
• Problem solving, issue resolution and change management skills
• Results-oriented and diligent, with an eye for detail
• Fluent in English, ideally with at least one other European language
• Qualifications: Engineering Diploma or University post-graduate degree preferred, ideally within Information Systems or a related subject.

Typically you should expect 30% travel within Europe. During your first few months in the role this percentage may be higher. Please send your CV to us in English.
