Consulting workforce is involved in business consulting, process design work and the application of technologies to business The Consulting workforce is made up of three groups: Management Consulting, Systems Integration Consulting and Technology Consulting. This consulting group structure provides outstanding opportunities to develop highly specialized skills that will help you advance your career.
Systems Integration Consulting professionals are responsible for delivering large-scale, complex programs that marry processes with technology to help clients achieve high performance.
Industry Applications professionals design, implement and deploy packaged software solutions that have been developed to accommodate unique industry business and management processes, regulatory requirements and other business needs.
Financial Services Core Banking professionals have deep banking industry skills who serve retail and commercial banks, as well as a variety of new entrants and innovators such as online banks. Their insights, experience and credentials come from deep industry expertise and/or client experience which gives them deep knowledge of banking offerings including Risk Regulatory Management, Business Process Development and Reengineering, Core Banking Systems, and Operational Excellence. Individuals are responsible for delivering large-scale, complex programs that marry processes with technology to help clients achieve high performance. They analyze client business processes and target specific strategic business opportunities to help banks define and implement high performance core banking solutions with increased operational performance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Defining business processes, capabilities, application of key technologies and performance measurements
* Creating functional requirements as an input to application design
* Conducting functional design and align business processes to application design
* Developing and testing detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes
* Managing application build, test, and deploy activities
* Planning and executing data conversion activities
* Conducting test planning and execution
Requirements:
* Consultants must be professionals who have an interest in how business processes work and interact.
* Consultants need to apply their skills in project and program management while exhibiting leadership in process re-engineering and implementation of process, technology, and organizational change.
* Finally, consultants also need to have a working knowledge of the industry and/or the functional areas they serve
