Job Description:

The Consulting Solutions Manager is responsible for prospecting, growing and developing System Networking business within the assigned territory. (TX, OK, AR, LA)  Responsibilities include: prospecting for new customers within the region, managing the customer relationships and sales activity within assigned account base/region, team leadership, achieving quota requirement, cross selling with other company brands where appropriate and maintaining customer satisfaction.

This person is responsible for building, growing and managing relationship with end-user customers. The position is additionally responsible for building and leveraging relationships with other teams and Business Partners to achieve target goals.

The Consulting Solutions Manager manages opportunity development and life cycle for complex and/or emerging technology solutions across multiple industries to deliver value and solve customer business issues. These solutions incorporate hardware, software and / or services.

As a team leader, the Consulting Solutions Manager is responsible for developing and presenting internal business cases and securing appropriate resources to drive position goals and objectives. This position provides leadership, guidance and direction to team members to ensure that personal and company goals and objectives are achieved.

Analyzes new and complex industry, technology, economic or competitive situations. Understands customer, industry and information technology trends and applies this understanding to develop successful solution business strategies and to identify offerings for future business.

Is responsible for identifying customer-defined business issues and objectives. Evaluates potential solution alternatives and leads the team in selecting the most appropriate solution to achieve customer objectives with appropriate solutions. Leads the presentation of solutions to the customer, overcomes competitive issues, resolves customer concerns and obtains customer commitment.
