Consumer Credit Specialist

Prestigious financial institution seeks to recruit a team of high calibre individuals with excellent critical analysis skills and a good understanding of corporate governance or strategy and/or consumer credit.

 

These are externally facing roles requiring the successful candidate to quickly assimilate new information and retain credibility whilst communicating with and challenging highly knowledgeable senior stakeholders.    The roles will involve managing a caseload of consumer credit related queries, undertaking sector and firm-specific analysis and presenting to and managing relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Specifically, the successful candidates will be responsible for a portfolio of cases, using sound judgement and strong analytical skills to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate risk appetite and commercial feasibility.  An understanding of the business models of firms providing consumer credit will be an advantage.

Applicants will demonstrate strong case management and time management skills, excellent judgement and the proven ability to confidently present results and findings both verbally and in writing.  An interest in consumer protection, a strong work ethic and the desire to apply robust problem solving and analytical skills in a business environment are essential.
