Brook Street are currently working on behalf of our Global New Media Client to recruit a Content Editor. This will initially be on a 3 month contract for services.

Role Overview

Manager is seeking a strong Content Editor for a new role within their team based out of London Victoria. They will drive the editorial side, consolidating results of data, analysing trends, issues and defining criteria for improvement and change

Key Responsibilities:

* Vetting result pages generated by the feature teams the US and international versions

* Regular review of query and suggestion data to identify patterns and anomalies and to evaluate the results from other editors;

* Create and track metrics associated with the various inputs we receive on the project;

* Creating judgement guidelines by which query terms and suggestions are assessed across multiple result page types, including (but not exclusive to) web, image, video, local and news result pages;

* Coordinating with feature PMs to organize editorial fixes for poor performing query terms in their respective feature areas;

* Co-ordinating their work through an online portal used to record the overall state of campaigns and their query terms;

* Use of various tech. tools such as QEP, Cosmos (SQL), Excel, Sharepoint, crowdsourcing tools;

* Leading Defects and Delights meetings - when Program Manager is unavailable;

* Weekly and monthly status reports to track progress of the project.

As a candidate for this position you will be able to demonstrate:

Strong writing, editing, project management, communication and organization skills required. Must have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work as part of a team.

An additional European language such as French, German, Spanish and Italian this would be a distinct advantage but not essential. They will also be interested in pop culture and trending topics on the web and will be able to discuss this at interview.

Salary: £38,000 - 45,000
