The team is small and entrepreneurial and is seeking an experienced Content Manager to drive and execute demand generation strategies, marketing programs, and customer experience improvements to accelerate growth of the business. The Content Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan, site merchandising strategy, roadmap, and email program. This position requires a candidate who builds marketing strategy from a data-driven perspective and dives deep to do thorough analysis of the various AmazonFresh customer segments. In serving the AmazonFresh customer, this Content Manager will collaborate with AmazonFresh vendor managers who are looking for marketing opportunities to drive their business and AmazonFresh Instock Managers who control inventory. As such, the candidate must be able to edit incoming requests and prioritize work according to the key strategic initiatives of the business. In sum, the Content Manager will work to understand the needs of these customers and then build a recommendation for the marketing messages and channels that will most effectively reach those customers. The Content Manager will also help shape the customer experience and website design elements, from the detail page to all marketing messages, to ensure that the right voice and high-quality content are maintained. Importantly, the candidate must be able to work at the both a strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (executing campaigns with site merchandising tools, analyzing traffic data, and solving problems). The successful candidate must be a passionate advocate for the customer and be a quick study of the food industry. This position requires close collaboration with technical and business teams within Amazon as well as interaction with external vendors. Therefore, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence using data and logical/persuasive argument.
