Our client is looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join their senior management team at one of their distribution centres in the Didcot area. Although continuous improvement methodology and lean techniques are relatively new to the distribution sector, they are keen to get an experienced CI or Process Manager to join their business to identify and enable change in this new and exciting role.
The Role:
- You will be responsible for the management of continuous improvement throughout the operation.
- You will drive through operational process compliance, planning and project managing the execution of operation change throughout the distribution centre.
- You will train staff of lean methodology to help motivate them to deliver a cultural change within the business.
- You will also be responsible for the stock management for the site, including the inventory and QA team.
The Person:
- You will come from Lean or CI background and be able to demonstrate a progressive career path of delivering change.
- You will be educated to a good standard and have relevant industry qualifications such as Six Sigma, Kaizan, Kanban, 5S or Lean.
- You will have excellent communication and coaching skills, a good knowledge of IT and a detailed and analytical approach.
- You will have good man-management skills, inspire those around you and be results focussed.
