Contract Administrator Job in Clearwater 33760, Florida US
Contracts Administrator Needed for local manufacturing company.
Handles all commercial facets of contracting, from evaluation of RFQ to contract close-out.
Participates in pre-contract discussions and negotiations. Reviews terms and conditions and communicates contract requirements to the organization and monitors performance for compliance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify contract risks and recommend actions.
- Review and approve subcontractor agreements and invoices and manages compliance with contracts.
- Negotiates all modifications to or deviations from contract requirements.
- Provides management with timely reviews of the status of all contracts.
- Acts as company liaison with outside insurance companies and brokers.
- Shall keep all proprietary information confidential.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent understanding of contract law, both domestic and international, including familiarity with Incoterms, commercial insurance, bonding, liquidated damages, etc
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.
- Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
- Highly detail oriented and organized in work.
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines and manage time.
