Contract Analyst – Abu Dhabi recruitment
A wealth fund in Abu Dhabi is seeking to hire a Contract Analyst to join an experienced Relationship Service Management Team to perform analysis on key IT service vendors.
The role will be responsible for the review, analysis, negotiation and finalisation of legal terms and conditions of contracts with large IT suppliers. As part of this function, the Contract Analyst will be required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders; external lawyers, procurement etc. to ensure that terms and conditions of existing IT suppliers offer the protection and quality of delivery expected of corporate and commercial policies.
As well as the analysis and negotiation, the Contract Analyst will investigate the internal processes of the client when reviewing contracts and provide advice on legal entitlements and obligations across the entire contract lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis, negotiation and agreement of contract legal terms and conditions related to procurement, implementation and support of IT products
- Provide advice and recommendations to Associates, Supplier Relationship Management within the Relationship Service Management team on contracting strategies
- Coordinate with External Lawyers drafting and provision of legal advice during the process of establishing and negotiating contract terms and conditions
- Preparation of reports to Manager on legal entitlements, obligations and risks, including recommendations, for IT Management acceptance / advice prior to proceeding with the contract execution process
- Develop contract templates
- Undertake contract lifecycle analysis for changes to the contract and renewal process
- Ensure that changes to contracts are managed and closed successfully avoiding potential service disruption due to non-renewal of contracts
- Interface with key stakeholders including internal colleagues and suppliers to obtain relevant licensing and other information as necessary
- Develop contracting and procurement policies, guidelines, processes and procedures in alignment with corporate procurement and supplier management policies and guidelines.
Candidates must have the following experience:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent, preferably with technology background
- Experience in the Investment Banking sector
- Previous experience as a 'Contracts Analyst' involved in the procurement of Information Technology products and services
- Experience in drafting and negotiating contract terms and conditions
- Effective negotiator
- Effective analytical skills.
