Contracts Specialist

Provide support (including administrative support) to the Purchasing, and Contracts Subcontracts Departments. The ideal candidate must have excellent team work skills; be able to multi-task; have excellent computer skills; and be able to handle basic administrative tasks such as scanning and filing documents. The successful candidate may also draft or review/analyze contracts that vary in complexity, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and/or vendor service agreements. Candidate may also draft, edit, modify, and/or track multiple purchase orders (PO). Candidate will be responsible for contract maintenance; processing of various paperwork; making purchases; reconciling credit card purchases; invoicing; contract administration; and deliverable tracking. Must be able to understand and follow FAR guidelines and maintain and/or create procedures and files with an audit trail. Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelors degree in a business related field Strong research and analytical skills Basic administrative skills gained from working in a professional environment Proficiency in MicroSoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint Excellent team work; multi-tasking skills; and computer skills are a must Must be willing and able to handle basic administrative tasks such as scanning and filing documents.
