Controller (M/F) recruitment
The individual will be member of the Luxembourg based FA team with primary responsibility for participating in the finance, accounting and tax compliance functions for the Luxembourg based investments and holding companies.
You will:
• Ensure accurate and timely accounting for the Luxembourg-based hold-co structures;
• Help to develop and implement controls and procedures regarding investment accounting and reporting functions;
• Monthly, Quarterly and Annual financial reporting, including preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements as well as production of audit files;
• Liaise with external auditors and pro-actively participate in the management of the audit process for holding companies and certain investment level entities;
• Participate in tax compliance of Luxembourg-based entities under JER’s direct control;
• Liaise with outside service providers to ensure periodic financial reports and tax filing are completed and filed for other holding companies and certain investment level entities not in JER’s direct control;
• Support the implementation and development of new accounting software and new chart of accounts for Luxembourg based entities;
• Work on ad hoc reporting to management on business performance and liquidity forecast;
• Coach and develop other staff members;
• Participate / Manage new projects (transactions or other) depending on business needs and development
Your profile:
• Qualified accountant or similar University Degree with minimum 5 years experience in public accounting or a real estate fund;
• Experience with Luxembourg based holding company structures and Luxembourg accounting regulations;
• Experience with accounting systems (BOB or similar) and highly proficient in Excel;
• Knowledge of common legal documents and tax structures used in Luxembourg
• English fluent, French or German would be an advantage
