Controller - Thriving Software Startup!
Are you a Controller with experience in the software industry? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment?

In a short period of time, we have garnered the attention of small to medium sized businesses, as well as Fortune 500 companies worldwide. Our new Controller will be a key member of our accounting department reporting directly to the CEO.
What you need for this position:
- BS in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Controller
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, California and federal labor law, and federal insurance regulations
- Experience in the software industry and revenue recognition regulations
- Knowledge of international entities and related accounting issues
- Expert Excel skills, to include pivot tables, macros, v-lookups, etc.
- CPA desired
What you'll be doing:
- Establish, monitor, and enforce policies and procedures, and internal controls and staffing costs
- Process and assume ownership of AP, AR, Payroll, and GL
- Assist with preparation and reviews of monthly and annual financial statements
- Direct preparation of budgets and arrange for audits of company accounts
- Coordinate annual review of financial statements and tax return completion with CPA firm
