We currently have immediate openings in Morristown and the surrounding areas for a Conventional Loan Mortgage Underwriter, as well as other insurance positions!
The Morristown, NJ location of a major insurance and banking company is seeking several Residential Mortgage Underwriters with 5+ YEARS OF CONVENTIONAL LOAN MORTGAGE UNDERWRITING EXPERIENCE for a 6+ months assignment. Job description and duties are as follows:
Performs full manual underwriting and quality control analysis on closed residential loan files. Candidate must be fully seasoned forward residential mortgage underwriter with at least 5-10 yrs experience. Exposure to FNMA, FHLMC, FHA and VA guidelines a must. Ability to fully underwrite documents including but not limited to income, assets, employment, collateral, AUS (DU/LP), Hud I, full title binder and various closed loan documentation. College degree preferred, good communication skills and strong computer skills a must. Must be familiar with a variety of the industry and investor requirement guidelines, industry concepts, practices, and procedures. Will report directly to department manager and department director.
