COO/CFO recruitment
A highly established commodity investment manager based in London is looking for a CFO/COO to come on board as their new fund is closed. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a stand alone position and build a brand new finance compliance function within an expanding firm. Responsibilities include providing the CEO with timely up-to-date financial information of the business as well look after all of the statutory reporting and implementation of new controls. This role will also need some with strong commercial awareness as you will be involved the PL of the fund and ensure surplus cash is invested securely in appropriate products. The role will have one direct report.
Past experience has shown that the most successful candidate in this role will have a strong finance and compliance background within investment management. You should have demonstrated strong strategy, compliance and technical reporting experience. Candidates must be immediately available and free to interview at short notice. A strong academic and analytical background will undoubtedly put you in strong contention here also, as will strong systems skills.
