Securities Processor- Global Settlements recruitment
Role:
A leading global bank requires a candidate with experience of settlements and failed trades from (ideally) a custodial background. Knowledge of Securities Lending and Emerging Market foreign exchange settlements is also highly desired. It is also advantageous for the candidate to have had exposure to Euroclear, Clearstream and Unit Trusts. The successful candidate will be tasked with monitoring trades and clearing any exceptions.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to and settlement of all cash/stock exceptions
- Root cause analysis on reasons for these breaks
- MIS collation on weekly basis
- Covering team lead duties during holiday period
- Stakeholder relationship building
- Continuous process enhancements
Education and personal:
- Relevant degree (preferred)
- Stock lending experience is essential
- Experience of different (local) markets is advantageous
- Good interpersonal skills
