We partner with federal, state, county and local government agencies to meet their service needs through quality, cost-efficient services and programs, which in turn saves taxpayer's money.The candidate will under close supervision, prepare food; train and supervise resident kitchen crews in accordance with directions from Food Service Supervisor, supervise loading area and comply with sanitation and health requirements as it relates to meal preparation.Typical duties include:*Prepare food*Clean kitchen*Help maintain proper inventory*Work with resident kitchen crewThe right candidate will have:*6 month cooking experience, preferably in institutional setting*Familiar with principles of institutional cooking, portioning and sampling of foods, food storage and stock rotation procedures and typical health requirements and standards for kitchen cleanliness *Successful completion of criminal background check, driver's license check, and drug screening
