Specific Job Description System Engineers conduct Tier 3 level support for this contract to include performing conducting BES and exchange troubleshooting, Citrix troubleshooting and file server management. System Engineers provide direct assistance to desktop support technicians and coordinates higher level support with vendors and Tier 4 engineering if necessary. The incumbent is responsible for updating and closing remedy tickets in accordance with service level objectives and providing updates to senior management. Shift hours will include some weekend work as well as work during holidays. Standard Job Description Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
