CORE JAVA DEVELOPER
My client is an established Global Investment bank, looking for a high calibre Java Developer with exceptional Java Development experience and either Low Latency / High Frequency Programming experience, to join their pioneering, world class team of Java experts.
You will work directly with traders, with the unique ability to understand the business requirements in detail, delivering excellence to increase the firm’s profitability and efficiency across the FX business. You will have a strong focus on ownership of development tasks, a passion for problem solving, and a pragmatic desire to make things work. You will be expected to communicate and cooperate fully with other internal development, support and trading teams.
Essential Skills: -
Excellent Core Java
Hibernate / Spring
UNIX (LINUX).
Object Oriented Programming / Development (OOP / OOD)
Real-time Programming - Low-Latency / High-Throughput / High Frequency
Excellent Communication Skills
Desired Skills: -
Understanding of Equities / FX asset classes
Knowledge of Front-Office execution system development
Electronic Trading technologies, FIX, exchange connectivity, market data feeds
Education:
Minimum 2:1 Degree or Above from a Top Tier University (Computer Science / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics or a related Degree)
