The Execution Services Group require a senior Business Works Developer able to:
*Provide technical leadership to a small team of developers
*Take the lead in architectural decision making
*Analyse the specs provided by the Business Analysts
*Make necessary development to fulfil those requirements (technology Tibco Business Works, Java, JDBC)
*Perform unit testing (functional testing are performed by a dedicated team in the same department)
*Use efficiently the software development environment tools (Eclipse, SVN)
*Build and deliver the correct interface package to be deployed by the interface support team
*Understand and help to resolve any Interface and/or TIBCO BW related problems (second line production support)
Main Responsibilities
*The following all relate to the Globally installed BW interface between SG Fidessa products and various up or downstream applications
*Develop software and configuration based on the technical specifications produced by the SG team
*2nd Line Support where required for problems in any of the environments
*Assist in the analysis of problem and new requirements
*Assisting in architectural decisions where requested
*No responsibility for staff
KEYSKILLS
Must have strong programming experience in Core Java
TIBCO BusinessWorks / TIBCO BW
Ideally will have knowledge of Equities
