We are currently hiring a Core Service Trainer to provide end-user medical insurance training. This position will report to the Director of Training, QA, Analytics PI.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the needs of the Johns Hopkins Health System (JHHS) and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (JHUSOM) front end registration
- Scheduling personnel and clinical Patient Service Coordinators (PSC’s)
- Other supporting roles related to service excellence and telephone based customer service training as needed
- Providing interactive, hands-on training to new and experienced staff, as well as training support to department patient access unit managers:
- Training involves detailed teaching on the multiple insurance payers with an emphasis on accurate selection and documentation of insurance codes, in addition to identifying benefits, referral and authorization requirements
- Developing and maintaining of all insurance selection and customer service training materials
- Meeting regularly with the Director and the Training, QA, Analytics PI team to review progress of staff training, trends in registration completeness and accuracy and customer satisfaction, as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of all related training approaches and materials
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience
